The Pickleball
The JOOLA Heleus Ball consists of combined systematic testing techniques with actual game play on the pickleball court to evaluate dozens of competitors’ pickle balls and prototypes. They then focused on three core functions: consistent flight, liveliness, and durability. Using the Fibonacci Sphere Algorithm, JOOLA has produced a patent pending design for 40 precisely equidistant holes. Joola paired that with over 70 years of experience in developing and testing table tennis balls to ensure the playability and consistency. The design and materials used to perfect the playability have the knock on effect of producing a premium, long lasting, durable pickleball for outdoor or indoor play.
Recommended Use
We recommend this ball for those looking for a lively, fast passed Tournament ball or for those playing on outdoor courts or indoor acrylic surfaces (often found in indoor tennis venues). If in doubt please send us a message in the pop-up chat.

FAQs
Have a question ? We are here to help.

How do I choose the right pickleballs?
Just like paddles, pickleballs can influence your style of play. If you’re just getting started, we recommend lighter balls like the HEAD 26, as they’re easier to control. As you grow more confident, you can move to harder, heavier balls for more speed and a truer bounce.
If you need help choosing, we’ve created a helpful video guide, or you can call us directly for personalised advice.
Indoor vs Outdoor Pickleballs
Indoor pickleballs are usually softer with larger holes, which gives you more control and creates a slightly slower pace. They’re ideal for gym floors or indoor courts. Outdoor pickleballs, on the other hand, are harder with smaller holes, making them better suited to handle wind, rougher surfaces, and faster rally speeds. If you regularly play in both environments, we also offer mixed multi-packs so you always have the right ball for any court.
How long will my paddle/Order take to arrive?
We aim to ship all paddle orders the same day using Royal Mail Tracked 48, which typically arrives within 2 working days. Need it faster? Expedited shipping is available upon request for an additional fee.
How long do pickleballs last?
Durability depends on the ball type and playing surface. Outdoor balls tend to wear out faster due to harder surfaces and weather, while indoor balls usually last longer. Most players replace their balls when they crack, lose shape, or feel noticeably softer.
