Intrigued by the combination of elements from tennis, badminton, and table tennis, I decided to give it a try. I quickly fell in love with the fast-paced and dynamic nature of the gam

When I returned home to the Isle of Wight, I couldn't shake my newfound passion for Pickleball. I searched for local clubs and teams, but unfortunately, there wasn't much available, particularly on an island. So I gathered a group of friends, donned our paddles, and began to play together regularly. Our team was formed.

Over time, our team grew in size and skill level. Now, we play Pickleball multiple times a week as a team, and it has become a huge part of my life. It's amazing how something I discovered on holiday has now turned into a lifelong passion.

As my love for Pickleball grew, I became increasingly passionate about introducing others to the sport. I noticed that many people in the UK were not familiar with it and lacked access to the necessary equipment. To learn more, I conducted research as part of my role at a university to understand why this might be. I realised that one of the main barriers to entry for new players was the availability of equipment.

With this in mind, I decided to take action. I invested time, money, and effort in building relationships with manufacturers around the globe and became an authorised reseller of some of the biggest brands in the world, including Selkirk, Paddletek, Franklin, and Diadem, to help the sport flourish in the UK.

Today, we are proud to have played a role in growing the Pickleball across the Island and the UK and to have inspired others to get involved in the sport. However, we don’t plan on stopping there. We have some exciting plans in the pipeline for the sport here in the UK.
