I tried these balls because Franklin X40s have been proving eccentric in flight and have a dead bounce. The Selkirks fly true without wobbling, and bounce much better on the rubberised multi-use surface of our available outdoor courts. They take topspin well, although seem to fly off the paddle slightly differently, requiring a little adjustment in play. Can’t tell about the durability as yet, but very impressed with the playing characteristics.

I came from a £60 fibreglass paddle, and a ~3.2 player, to this - it's a major step up. I read a lot about it maybe not being a good paddle for an intermediate "too much pop" etc, but I get massive control vs what I had experienced before and find it super easy to play with. And my game instantly got powerful. I love the paddle - it's fast, light and great. However, would recommend discussing your needs with the team at the store before buying .. they really were helpful in my decision.

Bought SLK Nexus pickleball paddle for my wife as I already have one and we're both pleased with it. They price matched another supplier and threw in a few cover for the paddle. When Royal Mail managed to lose it they were very helpful until it was found. I would happily buy again from this seller and have recommended them to friends.

Even though I have only briefly tried the SLK ERA Widebody paddle, I knew instantly that I would love it, and purchased one shortly after.

I feel very lucky that The Pickleball Store has provided the UK market with the opportunity to experience some of the premium US paddles and long may it continue.

It hasn’t turned me into a better player overnight, but it definitely gives me more control over where I land my shots than I’m used to. Which is encouraging. I’m hopeful that improvements in my game will follow as I get more familiar with it.

Best paddle I had so far coming from a Vatic Pro and a 6.0 DBD.. Construction feels extremely solid and off the box plays incredibly well. You feel there is a breaking period but it is a satisfactory feeling since it only gets better the more you play. It is not a beginners paddle but anyone can get used to it pretty quickly. Brought more power to my game without loosing stability. My control game wasn't affected and made it easier my double back hand shots (dinking and power shots). Can't comment on longevity yet but so far I am extremely surprised. The Pickleball Store costumer service was excellent during the process of buying this paddle. Down size is the price but so far I have the feeling that you pay what you get.

I had the old Anna Bright paddle which I loved, was time for an upgrade so I went for this… absolutely love it!! Loads of power when needed but also great control and feel at the net. Can’t recommend it highly enough!

Very happy with this paddle. I chose it after only a brief trial; mainly on recommendation. Good spin and control and enough power.

Top service as always from the Pickleball Store, really enjoying playing with the ProXR, great level of control from the paddle but plenty of power from the Sweet Spot! If being slightly picky I wish the handle was slightly thicker and a tad longer for the 2 handers!
